Luna, the Aeon of the Moon. For Crystal-Hime's Aeon Contest.

Luna is the physical representation of the moon itself. She embodies all that humans revere about the moon. From the Full moon her light shines away the darkness of the night, cleansing and purifying the land while also showing the face of the raging warrior driven to lunacy while watching the moon in its full state. Of the Gibbous moon she is the mother, the dreamer, the prophet, caring and recollecting of battles and heroes long past. The Half moon embodies the judge, the balancer of light and dark, good and evil, punishment and attonement. When the moon is a sliver in the sky she is the shaman, the intellect, calling forth the spirits of the earth to dance under her diminishing light. When her face is not seen, the New moon is when she is very sneaky. No one knows of her movements when the moon is not seen in the night sky, and that makes her very dangerous.

In all of her forms she is silent, her words are of a language long dead when she chants to the memories of the past or the spirits of rejuvination.

Special Attack:

Luna's special attack varies depending on the phase of the moon itself.

Full Moon: Luna unleashes her fury by swiping her scythe and bringing death to those who oppose her.
Gibbous Moon: Chanting a song to the glories past, she boosts her allies status while also deminishing her foes.
Half Moon: As the Judge she removes all status effects (good and bad) from everyone to ensure balance.
Crescant Moon: She chants again, this time in low sweet sounds as spirits swirl around her allies, healing them of all damage.
New Moon: Luna appears as a wisp of darkness as she uses her scythe to slice a target a thousand ways and then disappears into the night.

Overdrive: Moon's Power

Luna cannot call upon her other abilities if the moon is in another phase. When watching her allies take damage her Rage grows until she can unleash the full fury within her heart. She glows a bright silver, illuminating the immediate area as if moonlight was concentrated on that one spot. Unleashing her Special abilities one after another, she attacks her foes, curses them, removes all penalties and bonuses from those in the moonlight, heals her allies, and then finally strikes at all foes with the stealth of the New Moon. Her Rage spent, she leaves the feild and cannot be summoned again for 24 hours.
